My last position caring for a lady with MS was one of the highlights of my life. I truly enjoyed keeping her company, as well as taking care of her when she could no longer care for herself. I brought care and joy to a person who thought there was nothing left for her, which brought tremendous joy to me. Years ago, I had to find someone for my grandmother, and that person was able to make a big difference in the quality of her life. Now I pay that gift forward. My duties include patient care combined with household chores. Many days patient and I would just sit and visit. Other days we spent time reading, watching television, cooking, working on crafts, and going on outings. I believe in treating other people just like my grandmother was treated, and how I would like to be treated someday.
