In 1983 I took care of my sickly Mother. It was an unforgettable experience. In 2003 I was able to assist in the care of my Aunt who has vascular dementia. At this time, she is in a nursing home, but I have seen for myself that residents do not receive enough care. I will be caring for a lady in August 2009 as soon as her physician approves the hours she will be allowed.
