I took the CNA class through Portland Community College and have been working since then doing private care giving. My experience with patient's medical conditions is: a client on dialysis, a client with MS, several clients with Dementia, a client with mild Alzheimer, a client with Rheumatoid Arthritis, a client with COPD. I have a good repertoire with seniors and disabled people. I am patient, considerate and helpful. I am kind and giving. I set boundaries and I am firm when needed. I have been told that I am well suited for care giving. My duties have included hospice care, transfers, wound care and bandage changing, cooking meals, transportation, light housekeeping, laundry, administering medication and eye drops, watching for seizures, being a companion, administering oxygen, help with bathing. I love helping and taking care of people; making others lives better. I am sociable, like people, enjoy talking to elderly as so much to learn.
I have a background check on file and have taken background checks for the school district where I have worked as a para educator in Special Ed. I have references and recommendations. A background check is on file.
