I am a mature, motivated and compassionate certified nursing assistant and geriatric nursing assistant, seeking a suitable position in the health care field. I have further training in Alzheimer's and Dementia. I am discreet, trustworthy, and passionate, dedicated to helping those in need while communicating professionally with others. I have the ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills with a desire to continue education in the nursing field. I currently am working for a 65-year-old Multiple Sclerosis gentleman. Duties include: blood pressure monitoring, glucose level testing, medication reminders, transferring, using a Hoyer lift, showering, dressing, wound care, shopping, range of motion exercises, stretching, cooking, light housekeeping, pet care, skin care, and transporting to doctor appointments. I also incorporate aromatherapy, meditation, massage, and music into my practice to encourage healing within the body, mind, and spirit. I also encourage my clients to participate in active and stress-free activities while enjoying animals and nature. Giving is my purpose, patience is my gift!
