Presently, I am the caregiver of my mother-in-law who has mild Altzeimer's. She does not require 24-hour care, I am looking to find a part-time position caring for another senior to supplement my income. I assist my mother-in law in bathing, grooming, feeding her through a G-Tube, giving her medication as well as companionship and mild exercise. I have been her caregiver for three years. Previous to that, I was the caregiver for my mother for two and a half years 24/7 until she passed away from Alzheimer's in 2006. I am passionate for what I do because being in service in this way gives meaning to my life. I am a compassionate and empathetic person.
