I have worked for most of the last year in a care giving capacity. I worked for a retirement village that included a senior foster home with six resident living within the home itself as well as retirees living in private apartments. My main duties included working with the in home residents providing various levels of care such as incontinence care, toileting, transfer assistance, medication dispensing and logging, dressing, and bathing. I also had housekeeping and cooking duties. My reason for leaving was relocation. I was very sad to be leaving my residents and fellow coworkers. Since moving to Grass Valley I have been working an in home care giving agency and I love it. I have been working with clients of all different care levels, from basic housekeeping needs to incontinence and dementia care.
