I am currently a volunteer with a wonderful organization that flies WWII Veterans to see their memorial in DC. I relate, socialize and take care of these elderly soldiers for their every need, before they get on the flight.
Volunteering at a nursing home, helped me know what to expect, when my own mother contracted Alzheimer's. She lived across the country.
Currently, I am also a Corporate Flight Attendant and On Board Chef. I'm very used to taking care of everyone's needs. My training consists of CPR, First Aid, AED and Epi-Pen, Hazmat and even hand to hand combat!
Recently, I graduated from a nanny school. I am attempting to build on what I already know. This wonderful course just added to the extensive knowledge and ability I already possess. It gave me double CPR, First Aid, AED and EPI certification. There was also a safe driving course offered from AAA. I raised my three children on my own, so I had to know what dependability and responsibility means. I have done menu planning and created healthy choices, as well as old favorites. Having been a nanny in the past I've jumped into family situations and have been their "everything " person. This included running errands and taking their children to after-school events. I'd love to meet with you and discuss, how I can help with everything that I am. At this time, I have open availability.
