I have been working as a personnel care provider with the elderly for the past five years in their homes. It is a pleasure to know that I can make a difference in not only their lives but the lives of family as well. I do personnel care, showers, etc. I also prepare meals, light housekeeping, changing and remaking the beds, shopping, assist with rides to appointments as needed, and can be just a companion!! I find it very rewarding to know that when I leave their home I may have been the only person they see on a given day. I am able to give medications as directed and asst with monitoring and report any changes in the care that may be needed as well. I have knowledge of Dementia/Alzheimer's care and wheelchair/walker use. If in need of these services please contact me. I did list hours available but may have some flexibility with that if needed.
