My mother was nearly 100 years old and passed away in June 2008. She was living at a retirement home and had excellent care, I was there several times a week overseeing and keeping her comfortable, keeping company with her. She was my best friend.
My elderly mother just passed away in June (2008), and lived at the Jewish Home for the Aged. She lived to be nearly 100 years old, just shy a few weeks! My parents were always a lot older than I was, and my sister and I always cared for them.
