I cared for a 92 year old male with Alzheimer's for 4 years. I cared for him after hip replacement surgery and assisted with rehab. I also assisted him with rehab after a stroke. He was on oxygen 24 hours/day I had to administer meds and breathing treatments daily, and I had to care for all his needs until he died. I cared for a 97 year old woman with a feeding tube and in need of breathing treatments. She was not ambulatory, so I had to care for all of her needs for approximately 1 year until she died. I cared for an 82 year old woman suffering from pancreatic cancer. I had to drive her to all her doctor visits and cancer treatments. I cared for all her needs for 3 years until she died. I cared for a 65 year old male for 2 years. He was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, a heart condition, and Alzheimer's. I was a companion to him so he would not wander. I administered his meds, drove him to the doctor, cooked his meals, did his laundry, and cleaned for him until he was placed in a nursing home for extreme combative behavior due to the paranoid schizophrenia.
