Hi Cynthia, Thank you for your feedback. The conversation actually did end up being one phone conversation but you did leave me a message later offering $13/hr instead of the original $10/hr. I never did hear back from you after leaving a message with my schedule so that you could see if we might renegotiate the days I could make available for service. During the only conversation we had by phone I do recall listening to you tell me of your stressful situation:your broken foot, trips to the hospital to see your father and your desperate need for help for your mom. Only after listening, did I decline the position as you were very adamant about paying $10/hr and bi-weekly (I think every 2 weeks) through your company's payroll. I am a business owner also and know the value of time. Since at that time you seemed inflexible on the rate, I believe I politely declined and wished you and your parents the best and a quick recovery on your foot. I did keep the end of our conversation polite and short as I did not want to waste your time as you were not well and needed to move forward with interviews to fill the position. You never did contact me again after I offered days for the new pay rate. I will keep your comments in mind for future telephone interviews. Regards, Rhonda Hamilton, ASW, CNA
