My father was diagnosed with diabetes when I was a junior in high school (2008), it quickly spread to his legs, and he was no longer able to walk. I took over the role of head of household: cleaning, cooking, making sure he took his medication and bathed regularly. I love senior citizens, I get along with older people than I do with people my own age. I can sit and talk with them for hours. I can cook, clean and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of. I understand that they have their own opinions and will not be little them. I can help take them to the store or for a walk in a park. I will make sure they are happy.
