Hi there.
I love caring for the elderly in a home or hospital setting and I am a board certified Nursing Assistant. I have taken the course at Wake Technical Community College and I am listed on the NC registry. I have experience working with the disabled and elderly at Wake Med on their Rehab unit gaining clinical hours and also taking care of my 94-year-old grandmother with Alzheimer's. I provide activities of daily living as needed and may also run errands, provide transportation and administer medications. I absolutely love caring for others because I am very passionate about making a difference in the community and in the lives of others. I also am energetic, positive and encouraging!
In addition, I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University and as such I strive to gain more clinical experience for hopes of furthering my education in the Nursing field or as a PA as I believe either of these careers would be very fulfilling.
