My name is Polly, I been taking care of a sick, disable people all my life. It started will a family members of mine who had a fall that left him paralyze from the chest on down. I was the chosen one to take care of him out of my family. I don't drink, smoke or do any drugs. So he ask me to take care of him. I had to learn how to take care of him . So went to class at shepherd spine center to learn everything I need to learn before he came home. So that was my beginning to be a personal care taker. I took care of Mr. Marshall for 24 years. he died in January 2008. So I have found my gift from god as a personal care assistant. This is where I get my gratitude at and to help someone who needs help. I am happy to do that.
