I started in health care when I was 18 years old. I graduated from the Institute of Medical Dental Technology. I became a Registered Medical Assistant. I worked as a MA for a few years and then decided that I wanted some hands on experience. I then became a CNA, Certified Nurse Assistant and began working in nursing homes. I was a CNA for many years and then decided that I wanted to further my education so I went back to school at the University of Cincinnati in 2002. I graduated in 2006 and received my RN license from the state of Ohio in 2006. I then worked in the hospital on the Medical Surgical Unit for over a year and then decided to go back into the nursing home environment in Long Term Care. Since 2007 I have been a floor nurse and then worked my way up to RN Supervisor for the last few years. Now I have decided to go for my BSN then my Master's in Nursing. I am taking these classes online through University of Phoenix. Education is very important to me and I have taught my children that as well. I am currently looking to pick up some side jobs while working on my BSN and MSN. With several years of Long Term Care Exp. I would be highly qualified to take care of seniors in their homes. I believe this would be a great opportunity for my family to generate extra income and also to help someone else in their time of need. I have great references, professional and personal.
