I have over 12 years experience in elderly care, and experience with physically and mentally disabled. I understand the need for love, compassion and understanding of the elderly, especially with the sick and infirm, ambulatory and non - ambulatory. I have cared for cancer patients and with Alzheimer's patients. My most recent employment was with a sweet lady aged 96, who unfortunately became too ill for my services alone, though I provided in home care for her for almost a year prior. I am able to meet the needs of seniors as I understand their need for someone who they can trust, depend upon and can address their concerns, needs and desires, and am able to provide those things as well as address the concerns of their families, who require help with the daily routines necessary for their senior family members care. I have cared for people who are ill to those that have passed on, with attention to the process of leaving this world and their families. My experience includes the ability to offer Christian support to those in need, and the love and nurturing that is necessary as well.
