I work hard to add value to service at every opportunity, set solid boundaries, resolve conflict with humor, kindness and deference, build trust with patience and reliability and meet ongoing challenges with resourcefulness and flexibility.

I am a college graduate who formerly built a successful small business solely on the basis of satisfied client referrals. I live in Santa Rosa where I care for my own elderly mother in her battle with cancer and aging issues.

I have schedule flexibility, can work some awake overnight shifts. Sorry, but I cannot tolerate cigarette smoke or substance abuse in my care giving home. I deal well with most pets, work hard to create a peaceful, warm, safe, secure and happy environment for my clients and their families. I do this work because it is needed, because I like to feel useful in a direct and simple way and because I have always had an affinity for building good relationships with elders. My mother's generation will never be matched for wit, wisdom, sass, determination, optimism, generosity and sheer grit. I feel that I receive at least as much from my work with my clients as I give to them.
