I've been caring for the elderly for over 12 yrs now. I love taking care of them because it gives me such great pleasure that I'm doing something important to somebody who needs the help. I'm passionate about caring for the elderly because it gives me such a great joy and a sense of purpose. Over the years I've had such great experiences with my clients. I've had good times with them, like when they'll tell me about their youth and how different life was for them back then, and sad moments when I'd loose a client Ive gotten so close to and loved dearly.

Over the years, Ive learned a lot from my experiences. Whenever I talk to a new client, my goal is always to learn about my client because everybody is different and even with the same diagnoses, Ive seen that no two persons have exactly the same symptoms. I've learned that its not easy for my clients when they loose their mobility and cant do much for themselves. Some get frustrated because of that and its my job to show them compassion and make them feel at ease.
Ive also had clients who had dementia and Alzheimer's and struggle to find their words and surroundings. I always give the best of care to my clients regardless of their situations.
I know that someday I too may need someone to care for me so I always treat my clients like I would like to be treated one day.
