I have spent many years working with the geriatric population. It has always been my favorite area of nursing. Outside of my work I have so enjoyed spending quality time with the elderly, I have shared in volunteering and coordinating special events for different groups and really enjoy this. I very much enjoy all the wisdom that can be shared. I have spent many years in Sun City, Arizona doing mainly hospital work within the retirement community. I have also done part time care on a private basis as well. In the Washington area my experience has primarily been with the geriatric population, as I seem to keep going that direction just simply because I love spending my time with these patients. I have so much respect for each person, and I treat them with the respect they so deserve. Most importantly I have sincere compassion for each individual and the family involved. I believe that the integrity of each individual is to be held to the highest of standards and in treating them with the kindness and patience deserved. I have made very special and lasting relationships that I cherish. I have over 15 years of nursing experience and have found the best times, the most gratifying times of my career have been shared with the elderly and their families. This is my love!
