I was given the opportunity to work with a friend's mother in her time of need. 78yo H. from Sweden, taught to so much about life and the power of love for our fellow human beings. I helped her through her recovery as her children were not able to provide this for her and she had recently lost her husband of 50+ years to Lymphoma. She was a pickle, and a beautiful human being. I helped her when she could no longer do some of her daily work and for her, this was difficult as she was a very independent woman. That was my longest time working with an elderly person, 10 months with her and a few weeks here and there working with for a company in Oakland, CA for brief stints doing whatever was needed. This work speaks to me and is completely gratifying even when it was for a short time.

I am fully capable and truly love to help people when they need it.
