I have a clean background check from Multnomah County in Portland, Oregon. I have a health care provider certificate. I have a basic life support certificate. I am computer literate. I have marketing skills and web designs. 1)I do personal care-change depends, catheter etc, assistance in shower, toileting, clothing, grooming, nail care, foot care, hair care, back care, skin care, medical sepsis, oral hygiene, standard universal precautions, reverse isolation, TB airborne precautions, MRSA, VRE precautions, 2) pass out medications 3) run errands like shopping and taking to and from appointments, take to senior centers and even just for a drive 4) keep company like playing solitaire, chess, checker, sing gospel music, jokes, storytelling, etc 5) meal prep - we cook nutritious meals, bake treats we know that seniors have sweet tooth but at the same time understands the diabetic clients etc.(Dietary restrictions)6) housekeeping . 7) An option if the clients prefer to read scriptures or talk about the bible, etc 8)take garbage out to street 9)keep lists of food and supplies in the home and make sure that it gets refilled
10)document elimination of stool, urine, mucus, feeding, behavior, moods & etc 11) call emergency contacts if need to 12)supply & check first aid kit 13) perform CPR 14) arrange appointments 15) sort & send mails 16) assure safety 18)care for diabetic, alzheimers, Parkinson, quads, Spina Bifida, paralyzed, mentally disabled & retarded, fully & partially dependent and any medically challenged clients. 19) Cancer, term terminally ill, bed ridden hospice, specimen collection(routine urine, clean catch, 12 &24 hour specimen, sputum, culture)20) vital signs, douches, elastic stockings, feeding, elimination (enema, rectal tubes, Harris flush) and much more!
