I realized that I enjoyed spending time with them and my only desire was for them to have an enjoyable life and to feel useful. Eventually, their family members hired me to care for them first by doing housekeeping, cooking and errands and eventually I became their caregiver....

After many years of working in labor jobs, I discovered my passion simply by checking in on my senior neighbors in my condominium building. I realized that I enjoyed spending time with them and my only desire was for them to have an enjoyable life and to feel useful. Eventually, their family members hired me to care for them first by doing housekeeping, cooking and errands and eventually I became their caregiver. I would bathe them, clothe them and change soiled undergarments. I also gave them their medication and insulin shots. I was with them until their passing. I enjoyed reading to them and playing games with them. We went for walks when possible and stayed active mentally and physically as long as they could. I am a very energetic person, I am not lazy and I am willing to do whatever it takes to give those I care for a well-rounded life.
