I am the director of a program that provides assistance to seniors who wish to remain independent in their homes and have had training about Alzheimer's and Caregiver Coaching. I've worked with seniors professionally for six years. I'm interested in a part-time evening and/or weekend position (six to 10 hours/week) providing companionship, cooking, and/or light housekeeping to an elder or elder couple, preferably non-smoking. Cats and dogs are fine. To avoid conflict of interest situations, I prefer not to work for individuals in the area I work. My current position is working with seniors mainly in an administrative capacity. I have experience with home care and companion care, making meals, providing respite, and doing chores and light housekeeping. I have worked with people who have different degrees of Alzheimer's.
