I cared for a lady with early-Alzheimer's disease and her dog for three years. In the beginning, I only walked and cared for her dog, but she became like family to me. I helped her with little things around the apartment and made sure she took her medication every day. We would go out to dinner sometimes and sometimes we would just sit and talk or watch TV. I want seniors who need just a little assistance to be able stay in their homes and it is hard to find someone these days who you can really count on and trust, I am that someone. Sometimes you need just a little help and you don't have anyone. I am presently (since October 2010) doing part-time senior care.
