I worked and retired from local bakery as a delivery man delivering products to stores. When I retired in Feb 2011, a lady whose husband was dying of cancer asked me if I was interested in staying with him and taking care of him for approximately 10 hours a day. I did and was very happy that I did. He lived for only 2 more months but it was a very humbling and self gratifying experience. I cooked, bathed him, I would change his diapers. I basically took care of his every need and have to say one of the nicest things you could do for someone is to fulfill their every need when they know they don't have much more time left.
