I have been care giving for 4 years now and can't see myself doing anything differently with my time. The passion I have for my residents comes from my heart, and is no different than what I would offer one of my loved ones. Some skills and experience I have include engaging residents in activities, companionship, personal growth, and comfort are also priorities I strive to help residents achieve. I also have experience with mobility and transferring, including Hoyer lift. I can provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, showering, dressing and clothing selection, with ADLs, safety monitoring. When required, I act as a medical escort for residents who need to attend medical appointments. I also make sure that all laundry is done and put away for the day and that each and every room is kept cleaned and organized.
