I have been working in the customer service and restaurant industries for the past 6 years. I do understand the power of client satisfaction and the effect of team work on clients' willingness to return to the facility. Through this work experience I acquired valuable skills like prioritization, consistency, patience, which I believe to be very important qualities in the nursing career. While in the nursing program, I have pursued excellence in my studies as demonstrated by my academic honors. I was able to maintain my job in the restaurant, working 25 hours a week, throughout the nursing school. My organizational skills are meticulous and I have an excellent ability to multitask. The experience I gained in clinical field gave me the opportunity to develop critical thinking and to perform the role of patient advocate. I have been introduced to variety of procedures and types of equipment used with pediatric, geriatric, and adult populations. As part of the clinical rotation, I have been introduced to series of hospital settings, activities and therapies.
