I have 2 1/2 years of experience working with various age groups but primarily the geriatric population within an Emergency Department at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY. I worked as a nursing assistant and performed ADL's, EKG's, vital signs and assisted with various procedures. I have assisted with Foley catheters, life support systems, and CPR. I love helping people and bringing comfort to patients. I work well with nurses and doctors to provide exceptional care to patients. I am also a NY state licensed massage therapist with 6 years of experience. I worked in a medical office and provided therapy to a large population of geriatric patients with various conditions including but not limited to Parkingson's Syndrome, COPD, Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, LTC patients, Dementia, Alzheimer's, etc.
My future goal is to go back to school to become an RN and work within a hospital setting.
