Have experience with aiding in activities of daily living as well as range of motion exercises, shopping, providing transport to Dr. appointments, physical therapy etc. Also experienced in feeding, bathing and caring for decub. ulcers. I use good body mechanics and can lift if necessary. I do blood sugar monitoring, vitals, charting and above all provide sincere concern for the well-being of my clients. I am outgoing and friendly and have worked in hospice and had special training for this care. I do housework and can prepare meals as well. I also have a lot of experience for the Alzheimer client and have great empathy for both the clients as well as their loved ones. I will be the one to go the extra mile to ensure the most comfortable environment for those I work with. I believe my passion for seniors comes from being exposed to many a long-term care facility where it appears that these people have been dropped off and forgotten. I treat others as I hope one would treat me in the same circumstances no matter what they may be. I yearn to make a difference and will always be the first to volunteer or stay later and serve others with dignity and respect. I feel that it's our forefathers that have so selflessly sacrificed for all of the freedoms we are afforded today and we should care for them as they cared for us; giving nothing less than my all.
