I am currently volunteering at a food bank to assist the people in need. I understand how they feel when they come there (I had too) set your pride aside and get the help you need for your family.

My resume would show many years of the Senior Accountant,
but it does not show the person (mother) I was at the same time, son 22, and daughter 15 currently.

When my daughter turned 5 she was invited to join a gymnastic team and we did.
I ran all over the place, work, school, boy scouts, gymnastics, dance, skateboard sites etc.
I would take many of the gymnastic girls on trips
to the zoo and other events, driving to meets 200 miles away or flying out of state.
When a child is in my care, they are my child, anything that needed to be done, I did with pride.

The parents trusted me (us, husband of 24 years) and that speaks volumes alone.
I handled them like a summer camp counselor, just a little more love mixed in.

There are so many other stories like this that I can share.
I do small favors when I am able.
