I provided care to Seniors in a clinical setting working in a hospital. Most of my experience has been in critical care working in an ICU or a step-down setting. I have provided assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, turning, feeding, and ambulating. As part of the healthcare team, I also had technical responsibilities including monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, checking glucose levels, and performing ECG's. Additionally, I have sat with patients who were combative, and/or confused as part of a one-on-one assignment.

I also provided home care to my Grandfather who needed assistance because he was showing signs of dementia. I picked up medication for my Grandfather and set up his pill box.

Collectively, I feel I have the training and experience to take care of people in their advanced stages of life. I feel extremely comfortable working with older patients and enjoy their company.
