I am interested in working with Seniors because my Mom is in an Assisted Living community in Texas and when we talk about what living in this environment is like, she always tells me that she pays someone to take her to the market, the salon and also to just provide some companionship in her life and how much this time, spent with someone outside of her neighbors, means to her. She likes to talk about current events and also her past; we both believe that it helps keep her mind occupied & also gives her something to look forward to... so she doesn't dwell on how lonely she may be.

I wanted to be there for someone, as well. I am excellent cook and would love to prepare some meals for someone. I do not have CPR training, but would take a class to become Certified, if needed.

I'd like working with Seniors to hopefully enhance their life, as well as learn a few things from them, for myself.
