I cared for my mother during the time she was receiving chemotherapy seven years ago. During this time, she came to live with me. As her caregiver, I accompanied her on her medical visits post-chemotherapy, helped her with her finances, did cleaning and shopping for her and always made sure that she was clean and looked her best.

This care was over a year's time. Prior to my mom's chemotherapy, I also cared for her during the time she had a knee replacement. I took her to her medical appointments, ran errands, prepared meals and did housecleaning for her.

This care lasted about seven months. I have also provided transportation services for a family whose dad had the early stages of Alzheimer's disease by taking him to his dental and medical appointments to the VA Hospital in Loma Linda. I would report back to the family via phone or Internet with an update after each visit as to how the appointment went and what instructions the doctor had pertaining to his visit. We had a great time while driving to his appointments. He would tell me wonderful stories of his life and even though his stories may not have been exactly true to his memory, it really didn't matter.

We had great conversation and we laughed a lot which I felt was good medicine for him! I enjoyed working for this family and had a wonderful time taking their dad to these appointments. I worked for this family about six months. More recently, I cared for an elderly woman in Wildomar on a part-time basis during the time she recovered from surgery. I prepared meals, did laundry and light housekeeping, as well as taking her to her medical appointments and running errands for her.

I have a special place in my heart for the elderly and have a passion of seeing to it that I can, in some way, be a blessing to them by the things I can do for them. I am dependable and can provide excellent references. I can pass any required test such as drug and background check. I drive a dependable car and can provide proof of an excellent driving record and auto insurance.
