We have so much we can learn from seniors if we only listen. Most of them have given up everything that was important to them, now they have lost their health, so they must give up much of their independence. Once we understand these things, we can better help them enjoy the things they can still perform, which gives them real satisfaction.
I have been a personal assistant for the past two years. Before that, I was a certified nurses aide for 15+ years, a caregiver for three years, a med tech for three years, and I also took care of my mother in my home for many years. I have had CPR classes.
