Two years ago, I left a busy career to care for my 3 children. It has been the best decision I could have made. When I left this career, I did sacrifice somethings, not only my independence in some sense, but serving others from infants and small children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly in the healthcare profession. Now that my children are a little older, I want to return part time to help lessen the burden of full time care by family members who have aging parents or a child with physical disabilities.
