Seniors are a peoples greatest assets as they are a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. As such they should be treated with the utmost respect and compassion and should not be just a name on a roster or a number on a list. I am a firm believer in not treating them as if they are children but as the precious, loving parent, brother, sister, daughter or son that they are.
I have been a caregiver for the past 7 years and has worked with a variety of geriatric ailments recently specializing in early onset dementia, Alzheimer's and has also done a lot of work with stroke and spinal cord injury patients.
I am a certified PA Emergency Medical Technician and is equipped to handle all emergent situations. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I will assist with ADL's, medication reminders, setting up and escorting to doctors appointments, physical and occupational therapy, palliative and hospice care and just being a companion.
I am reliable, patient and adaptable to most situations thrown my way. I am very passionate about what I do as it gives me great joy to know that in whatever small way I'm able to touch and help someone else's life. Thank you.
