I first cared for seniors as a volunteer candy striper at Sequoia Hospital as a teenager. I found it to be very meaningful work and it was fulfilling to be of help to the elderly as a young person. I am always happy to relate one on one with another person who needs and enjoys companionship. I am just as happy to sit and play cards as I am with running errands or preparing meals. I am also a good conversationalist who enjoys asking questions and learning about the story of one's life. Seniors have much to teach us and I find them to be the most genuine, sincere people to spend time with. I am an artist and photographer who sells vintage items and antiques through an online shop and often have free, flexible time where I can be of assistance to others. Thank you.
