When asked where does my passion for care-giving come from the answer is simple; it started as a child growing up in Ireland. At 12 the local town nurse taught me how to assist my grandmother in taking her insulin shots. Coming to America as a teen one of my first jobs was to help my maternal aunt who was home bound with her day to day activities.

Since then I have learned from my clients and friend how to comfort them in their elder years. Together we have shared stories, laughed and yes even cried on occasion. All of those experiences are what I bring to the table as more than just a caregiver but a compassionate companion and friend.

What I bring to all of my friends and clients is a open heart, great sense of humor and the willingness to go the extra step. I'm proud to say I've learned something from all those whose life I have been privileged to be part of.

On my journey through life I have had the joy of working with elders living with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease, depression and some who have also been physically challenged.

I hope you will allow me the opportunity to take part in the life of your elder to continue sharing my care giving talents.
