I have had many close friends in their 70's-90's since 1981! I adore visiting with seniors as they often offer me insights into a "lifetime of education" and therefore, have only the highest respect for them in all ways. Most recently, I have been a privately employed caregiver (Feb., 2011-2012) to a close friend's mother in her 80's. She suffers from advanced dementia. I seem to have the tolerance and patience necessary to engage in positive conversation while attending to physical needs on a limited basis. I am also currently a certified Lifeguard and certified in first aid, CPR and AED.
