I am an RMA with an additional 29 certifications dealing with elder health care including dementia and end of life care. In the past 10 years I have worked in several states doing private duty live-in care. I love working with the elderly, there are so many rewards ie; a smile on a face when you have bathed, fed, made comfortable then sit down and say,"tell me about your life, how you met your wife/husband, about the children you have or even, your childhood memories". I do daily exercises with my patients including memory cognition and retention, enable them to interact socially, make them feel safe while with me cause I'm 100% dedicated to their needs at all times. I have excellent communication skills and because of my education in the medical field am able to monitor any and all health conditions, keep doctor and family informed and am very efficient.
