Let me introduce myself - My name is Joni and I love people of all ages. I am a mother and a young grandmother of 3 precious grandchildren. I am an extremely compassionate and caring people-person with a very upbeat personality who spent many hours in a nursing home caring for my invalid grandmother in the past. I wish to provide those services again for elderly residents who need assistance. I will provide companionship services that stimulate, encourage, and assist an individual. My primary responsibilities of companionship services include:
* Providing companionship and conversation
* Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
* Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
* Providing medication and appointment reminders
My home helper services generally involve light housekeeping, errands, or incidental transportation. Primary responsibilities include:
* Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, etc.
* Washing and ironing laundry
* Running errands
* Accompanying clients to appointments
Please contact me if I can be of assistance to your special needs family member. I also have an extensive medical background and have been CPR certified in the past. I am going to renew my CPR certification and Basic Life Support certification.
I have a lot of patience and compassion for elderly people and enjoy spending time with them. I learn so much from elders and always remember that one day I will be in their shoes and know how I would want to be treated.
