I worked for a few seniors doing home health care in Bullhead City, Arizona 10 years ago. I love taking care of the elderly as it is a very rewarding feeling. I was forced to quit my home health care as my mother got sick and moved in with me. I took care of her for 3 years before she passed. She was bedridden and was not capable of doing anything on her own. I worked along side hospice and they were very impressed with the care I gave her. They once told me that it was very unusual for home care patients not to have bedsores. I bathed, fed, emptied catheter, used a hoyer lift to be able to put her in the wheelchair for doctor appointments. Then unfortunately when mom passed my husband was having kidney failure and I took care of him for 2 years. So when it touches close to home I believe it helped me to feel even more compassion for people that are not capable of caring for themselves. If I was given the chance to help you I promise you would not go wrong with your choice. I am very honest and reliable.
