I have specialized in Alzheimers/dementia patients who often were bipolar, violent and had cancer. Some were active & contenant, others were immobile, still others bedridden & incontenant. Most recently I worked aa a full time Nanny, but prior to doing so I cared for 3 clients until the two 90+ year old women, one of which was blind, entered into Nursing Homes. The man is still somewhat self sufficient, although aggressive. In 2009 I cared for a patient 24/7, as a live-in Caretaker, for a year & four months, until her passing. It is my belief system to care most devotedly for the most vulnerable, offering them the upmost dignity & respect as they struggle to endure their trials brought on by age.
