I currently work less than part time for a senior in Lake Oswego. I've known her for more than a year, but have just recently started helping her at her home due to some mobility setbacks. I work from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday usually. It's great to be around her. She is funny and tells some great stories. I like being helpful to others. It gives me a sense of purpose and makes me happy that I make someone's life a little more enjoyable. I take her to the grocery store or we go for walks in the park. I help with some light house cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash), showers and exercises that the physical therapist has set up for her daily routine.
