I worked for over a year with a gentleman that was 98 years old until his family decided his needs were better met in a nursing facility. I am familiar with the gentle touch that an elderly person needs in order to prevent skin tears and bruising on their fragile skin.

I have been trained by a state institution on how to properly transfer an individual from bed/chair to standing/wheelchair/walkers and used these skills both while working with handicapped individuals in a facility and with a 98-year-old non-ambulatory male in his home.

At this time I am looking for an opportunity to supplement my income from a job I've been at for over 3 years. I work for a small company and my hours are flexible. My current position is technically as an administrative assistant for a health care company. My boss is a quadriplegic and so my "other duties as needed" have included basic housekeeping, cooking (I'm a great cook), and even on occasion assist with bathing and restroom needs. I perform all of my duties without hesitation and while maintaining the utmost dignity and humility.
