I have been caring for seniors for the last 10 years. I retired from corporate America (banking industry) and I chose to find a new profession in helping others.

I am a mature lady of 61 years old with an upbeat attitude. I keep very fit by working out at the gym and eating healthy. I have a positive attitude. Words that have been used to describe me are energetic, caring, funny, and young looking.

I feel that the most important part of offering senior care is to be loving and patient. Listening with an open ear, and finding the best in others is key. I cared for a dear sweet client, in her 90's. There were times when she did not want to eat. I was patient with her. We sat and ate together. I would find different foods that she was willingly to try to eat. It was important in my care giving that she in fact did eat a balanced menu. I asked all the right questions of her family and doctors. I took special notes and attention, as it pertained to my client. She grew trust and confidence in my care giving skills. That meant everything to me.
