My mother had cancer for five years, and my aunt for three years and my brother for three, and I was their sole caretaker other than the nurses that came to the house. I would give quality care to lonely seniors who deserve better than rest homes. This is not the place I would choose to spend my remaining days on this earth. I am able to sit and keep a good eye on your loved one, keep them company, take them on errands or anywhere they need to go. I will cook and do light housekeeping. I will also get their groceries or pick up their medications. I can also make sure they take their medications in a timely manor. I have never been paid for doing this job but I have a wealth of experience.
