My first client (Glenn) was 86 years of age, I cared for Glenn from August 2008 until August 2009. Glenn suffered from COPD and Dementia. My care giving duties included; assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation and walking assistance....

My care giving experience spans a total of four years, during those four years I provided in home care for two elderly ladies in the Northern VA area.

My first client (Glenn) was 86 years of age, I cared for Glenn from August 2008 until August 2009. Glenn suffered from COPD and Dementia. My care giving duties included; assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation and walking assistance. Provided continual supervision to assist with progressive memory impairment, also administered prescribed medications on a daily basis. Glenn passed in August of 2009.

Teddy was my second client, I started caring for Teddy in Sept 2009. Teddy was 97 years of age and had severe mobility issues, hearing impairment, and mild Dementia. My care giving duties included; assisting Teddy while she bathed and used the bathroom, grooming, dressing, oral care, supervision of daily exercise, preparation of meals, administration of medication, and monitoring vital signs due to hypertension. On a daily basis I maintained and updated a daily record of Teddy's general well being and daily activities, Teddy's family insisted upon this and viewed it daily. Teddy passed away in May 2012.

Achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (2006) and passed my country's RN exam the same year. Maintain a current CPR and First Aid Training Card, and a Certificate in "Prevention of Medical Errors".
