I am a caring, compassionate and loving caregiver. I am excited about the opportunity to provide superior care that will help seniors live independently. I am a Board Certified Nurse's Aide in the state of Texas, CPR certified. I received certification from the Alzheimer Association Essential Advance Dementia Care Training, July 2012, and certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioner March 2013.

My experience includes providing care for Alzheimer's clients. My duties include but are not limited to providing personal grooming, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, administering medicine as directed, shopping and transportation.


I have cared for the elderly since December 2007 through January 2011 as Minister of Nursing Home Ministry at a church. I worked with the Activity Director to ensure pastoral needs were met, facilitated 3rd Sunday worship service, Friday night Bible study and visitation, and Communion Service for residents and staff.


From 2010 to 2011, I volunteered as geriatrics home, visit chaplain, chaplain palliative care and bereavement, and hospital chaplain volunteer with a medical center. I provided companionship through friendly conversation; encouraged and motivated participation in daily routine tasks; provided spiritual care for the grieving and terminally ill; provided spiritual support by use of reading, singing, prayer and presence.
