I began working as a nanny for young families about 18 years ago. I was particularly interested in helping single moms raise their children. Many of these families are now a huge part of my extended family, they are my friends today. My experience has been from newborns to teenagers. I would do the laundry, run errands, take children to appointments, clean up the house, food preparation, virtually everything involved with raising a family. Many times the parents were out the country for extended periods of time, they trusted me to make all the decisions in running the household while they worked or traveled. Many times I would also paint their rooms or furniture while they were gone.

During the past couple of years I have spent time with seniors and I just love to sit and exchange stories with them. It gives me great comfort to see the joy that we bring to one another. I have had experience caring for a senior male relieving his wife for 5-6 hours at a time. I have also cared for a senior female who needed companionship, relieving her son for 5-6 hours on Saturdays. She just loved to reminisce about the 40's and 50's, it brought us both great joy and laughter.

Many moms have told me that I am a very easy going person and I have a positive attitude about everything - basically I love this life and want to share that with others.
